Circumnavigating the globe aboard their homemade 36 foot sailboat, Ginger and Neil Blum and their sons, Aaron and Ethan aged 17 and 15, began the journey in 1996 from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.  Their journey brought them through the Caribbean, the Panama Canal, the Pacific, Indian, and Atlantic Oceans.  They have visited 40 countries and home schooled the boys. Arriving home in June 2003, they settled in Hampton, Virginia. They now reside in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia just a few miles from the home of Ginger's parents.
